Everything began in 1990 when, by chance, “Luna” joined our lives. A lovely and clever Husky that unfortunately we were not able to enjoy as we would had like, since a disease stole her suddenly.

Few months after the lost of “Luna”, we got our beloved “Daimon”. Thanks to him we discovered that we didn´t make a mistake choosing the Siberian Husky breed.

We would have continued being an anonimous Husky owners if Mr. Manuel Luque (www.lukatan.com) doesn´t appear in our lives. He taugh us A LOT and was able to “deceive” us to discover the world of dog shows with “Cingara de Lukatan” that arrived our home in 1997 and from that moment, we haven´t been able to stop this special way of living with dogs.

In our fisrt shows we didn´t get very good results, but it made us deepen in the essence of the breed and began to share opinions with other breeders and owners, fans of Siberians. And from that year until now, we haven´t stop to learn from all of them.

From Cingara´s first litter, there were born in 1999, 6 puppies. 2 females from that litter “Luna” and “Chiqui” found our small kennel. “Gruyangaz” is the name that we select as our prefix. Is a funny combination of words in honour to the two people that has helped me the most: my mother and my grandmother.

We live in Boadilla del Monte, a small town near to Madrid. Our dogs live in free spaces and in continuous contact with us. We  don´t have a lot of space and we prefer to bet for Quality (In the global sense: cares, feeding, health ...) instead of quantity.

Our conception of the breed, impulse us to bet for the combination of the beauty and the natural working habilities.

After some years without the possibility of breeding or attending dog shows, in 2005 we culminated an ambitious dream and bred our second litter in 10 years. We selected Ch.Chrisdon´s Distant Thunder (Special thanks Chris!!!) as sire of our litter. “Armando” –Gruyangaz Armando Jaleo- ,born from this litter, together with our newest importation from France “Oumiak´s Bahia Oasis” are our hopes and we expect from them great satisfactions in a near future.

Once more, we want to thank all our friends who along all these years have taught us so much.
